This single story house was purchased by the clients with the plan for immediate renovation to accommodate the particular needs of an open floor plan for entertainment, a large master suite, two additional bedrooms and baths, and a three car garage with a guest cottage above. The major challenge was the home is located in an Historic District In Atlanta, GA, which has very strict rules that the existing profile of the house as viewed from the street, cannot be changed visually, width and height wise.
